This place has tons of bakery items, cakes, breakfast, and lunch options. We tried the plato guanaco (Salvadorean platter) and the carne guisada. Both were delicious. The plato guanaco was a great option to try many different things because it came with a pupusa and a tamale. The carne guisada was like a pot roast with very tender meat. I’d definitely come back. The only thing I didn’t really like was the pickled cabbage that came on the side of both dishes.
The service was pretty good, but definitely not fast food. The restaurant was clean but the interior was old and kind of ugly. Wouldn’t stop me from eating there though!
Most amazing bakery! Love purposes! There garnish is to die for! Tres Leches cake is a must have!
Very nice people, and great food. I recommend it. 🤗 ... and they have good morning coffee. Always good pastries and nice staff
Delicious place for brunch! Check out the full platter which gives a little taste of everything. The perfect meal will have your favorite pupusas, a side of beans, which are oh so silky, yellow rice, a chorizo sausage link, and of course, a beautiful fried plantain or two. Pair that with the crema and the red salsa and you’re in El Salvadorean heaven.
Do not forget the curtido, a pickled/fermented slaw that elevates the entire dish. When I get takeout I order a whole side of it, often they forget to include but when they do, I use it in everything!
The baked goods are not necessarily my thing, but lovers of this pastry assure me it’s the real deal.
I ordered Revolelta. It is bean, meat, and cheese. It is on the salty side. Salty is the main favor. My favorite pupusa is still in Portland, OR. The closest was pupusa in Burien. I ordered one of their bakery, Guayaba, it was ok. The filling tasted very artificial. Pupusa was $5 and the bake good was $1.95. There is 3% charge for all credit card transactions. You ordered at counter and they will bring food to your table if you are dinning in. The service was good.
Bakery / restaraunt that i can think of. Gets crowded in the front bakery, but the dining area didn't feel any more available. I waited in line slightly confused for about 10 minutes. Of course after a minute or 2 I asked a server how the ordering system worked. While I waited to order I had time to snap photos and stare in amaze at all their beautifully displayed pastries.
Fast forward. The food was amazing. So was the patry I ordered. The napoleon. Lowkey too much cream, but luckily it was very light. I'd most def try their other dessert offerings. As far as I could tell my food was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Can't wait to come back.
The interior was very bright and clean. The servers were all very busy and nice. The type of place you could eat at often. Great for a simple date or even to bring a family or large party. I would not come here for a fancy date. Based on what I could tell they offer breakfast and lunch all day. Their selection was more than acceptable. Best of all, parking was simple.
Good service. Good atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend
Their pastries are good but their food is even better. The Plato Guanaco, which comes with a little bit of everything, has got to be one of the most delicious things you can order from a restaurant in the Seattle area. The prices are a bit higher than Americans expect latin American food to be, but these same people wouldn’t blink an eye at a $25 mediocre pasta dish from a restaurant in a ritzy neighborhood. This food is worth the price and then some, and the Plato guanaco is actually a great deal when you consider how much you get. Such a great place, I’ve been going there over 10 years and I can’t recommend it enough.
